New Year Eve *editted*

woah, it's already new year eve today and lotsa stuffs had been going
no matter what happens, 2009 still will to an end and hope it stay as my memory
it have been a pretty average year to me, but school life was extrordinary
school is the biggest part of my life for this year 2009, now it's like a blink of an eye over soon

i could still flashback to the first day of school of my Form 4
everyone was so eager and awaiting to receive 'the paper'
a paper which take you to another new chapter in your education
it's an important decision-making day for us, all of the Form 4
we had to choose our stream, its either science, semi-science or arts

i was pratically panicking as i do not know which stream to choose
i was blurred and confused, also clueless to enter which stream
previously i was so determined to enter the arts stream
who knows at the end of the day, i entered the science stream

credits to MS CAELY, yun stole my paper and hurried wrote package 'A'
package A was science stream and she was so sure and told you will not regret this
then she handed in the paper and smiled to me, i was screaming 'why ?'
she said i know you want to be in science stream and don't you deny that ...

anyways, this was the year that we are allowed to bring along our cameras to school
why? we participated in the Magazine Community and was renamed as Journalism Club
credits to MR Subra, thanks but no thanks, i will not participate this next year
i truly want to focus on my studies and having a dream to score straight As for SPM

that's enough of my grandfather stories of the past, no use looking back
like i say its new year eve and i think i am suppose to list down my new year resolutions
well i want list it all down before i end this last update for the Year 2009
shall i post the nice pictures that i updated for this year? whether you want it or not i still post it

my bangkok trip

another big welcome back to ME from my short trip to Bangkok, Thailand
it was a shopping trip and it was a fulfilling trip for me and my family
everyone bought tons and tons of clothes, am gonna post what i bought soon

phew, i'm back from my last minute vacation in Bangkok
and on the last day of the trip, i went to a temple
which a large grassland for me to take pictures
and when i took the pictures, immediately makes me to snap pictures

am lazy to edit all the pictures and type the whole journey,
well maybe might update everything tomorrow or not
so on this post, every picture is on the vintage look, gotta love it

Winter Solstice or 冬至

today it's a special day for the asian, particularly to Chinese
its Winter Solstice or 冬至 in chinese
it's celebrated every year on the 22nd of December
it's also a reunion day for families

well, do you all celebrate this day ? i'm sure most of you all celebrate it
its also celebrated across the asia region like japan, korea and vietnam
its like Thanks Giving in the western countries, everyone gathers in a place
the time when relatives meet up and have a warm dinner, REUNION



its usually a big reunion which held in your grandparents' house
but in the 21st century, the venue is no longer that important
as long that every single family member is back to have dinner
that is really warm, if you're in a snowing land that will be even great



i know the pictures is not my own family members
but my classmates are just like the second family i have
they're like the brothers and sisters that i never have
though we may not be related but we treat each other like a FAMILY



if you have no one to celebrate with, you can always find your friends
friend is just like family, sharing the moment of happy and sad with you
the first day of school is like the major reunion for us
this remains me that how much i miss my friends and school



but the next time i'll be back in the school, it will be the last year for me
i'm graduating next year, i don't want it to end so quickly ...
besides, it also celebrates the bond or the knot we have
it will still be there no matter what, that's why family and friends always come first

Winter Solstice also reminds everyone a tradition that its necessary
that's preparing and eating 'tang yuan' or 汤圆 in chinese
its actually glutinuous rice balls which symbolizes reunion
its always served with sweet soup, like ginger soup or red bean paste



this is the picture of a bowl of 'tang yuan' served with ginger sweet soup
the most traditional way to eat 'tang yuan'



now it comes in different colours, like the above picture
making it more lovely and desirable to have it
just like mini candy balls, it definately got attention
too bad i don't like the ginger sweet soup or else i'll eat 'em all

Reminiscence

Lately, i kept on pictures, its either BANNERS or VINTAGE images
it's like the old times coming back in styles, like polaroid pictures
i am still amaze with technology that humans created, like PHOTOSHOP
enables users to manipulate images into whatever criteria



school holidays should be fun but its truly not for NOW
why now? when i'm still a kid, there is millions of things listed do to
but NOW, those plans had changed to what should i say, BORING
what i thought was holidays is enjoyable to any ages

but i guess that was proven wrong, growing teens like us had ...
changed the defination of FUN and HOLIDAY
twenty-first century is definately changed a lot since the previous century
nothing i can do ...

but i WANT to go back school, where my friends is ...



one thing hasn't change till this very day, the sky
the sky is still blue and the sun is still shining so bright
cloud is still white and grass is still green
BUT the air quality is not the same, its polluted

when will the air quality revert to the old days?

it's hard to find the ORIGINAL INTERNATIONAL version of the album
when i was in Mid Valley, i searched 3 shops to find this
sadly non of the shops have it, all theres left is the UGHH, Malaysian edition ...

now i'm indulging myself in the songs, all her 8 brand new track
and i'm so happy that i could die, okay not really though

SALES, yes

this is the original banner, isn't domo-kun cute?

oh my gosh, another year is gonna end
and a brand new year gonna start soon, PAUSE
before the YEAR 2009 ends, there is this event in Malaysia
like a custom to all Malaysian, which we call it Y.E.S.


everyone is happy and glad when sales arrives

what is Y.E.S. ? i'm sure you know what's that
unless you're a foreigner or tourist, then okay
for those who don't know what it means,
Y.E.S. is Year End Sales, when shopping spree happens


do you feel excited about the sales?

when anyone hears the word SALES, everyone would run to the nearest mall
or have an urge and desire to buy brand new items that is CHEAP
i know i would go to the MALL and have some shopping to do
how can resist the sale, when Christmas and New Year is coming along



after all its a customary to wear brand NEW apparel during the festive season
no matter what race are you, it is definately a MUST
but there is people complaining how 'UNSALES' of YES
when people compared sales with foreign countries, Malaysia LOSES(sorry to say)


getting frustrated because its not good?

a big fat WHY will come after this, because their SALES is so much WORTH than here
when they announce SALES, they really mean it and its UP to 70% or more
well in Malaysia, the highest that it can go its 50% or rarely 70%
but WE have no other choice but to accept the fact, cruel fact ...


unworthy sales will cause the customers to fight

afterall, we are used to it and we can live or deal with it
so why not, go SHOPPING now


why not make yourself a happy consumer like them?

ne last tip before i end this post,
go out and get some shopping done,
ask your parents to bring to the sales
or bring you children to the sales

don't irritated anyone especially when they're on sales hunt
